MOA Signing for Development of Geo Enabled Rural Water System

Mr. Valentino Shal, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in the Ministry of Rural Transformation, Community Development, Labour and Local Government, along with Mr. Earl Clare the Manager of Intelligent Solution Limited (ISL) & Owner of Red Diamond Applications, signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the development of a Geo-enabled Database System, which will be designed to store and produce data on the rudimentary water systems (RWS) and handpumps in Belize.

This initiative is a part of a larger project entitled: Enabling Gender-Responsive Disaster Recovery, Climate and Environmental Resilience in the Caribbean (EnGenDER), in partnership with the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management through the National Climate Change Office and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
